Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have noticed an increase in students being dropped off in the mornings who are indicating they are “walkers.” Please remember that students must live at least one mile from the school to qualify as walkers. We are currently verifying addresses, and several do not meet this requirement.
This is a serious safety concern, and our priority is to ensure a safe environment for all students. In addition, if your child does not live within one mile of the school, we will not release them in the afternoon as a walker.
We understand that your time is valuable; however, we must also respect the time of families who patiently wait in the carpool line. Our team is working as efficiently as possible while keeping safety first.
To help speed up the process, please ensure your child is ready to exit from the passenger side with all belongings in hand. This small step greatly improves the flow of our morning drop-off.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Carpool/Silent Dismissal Procedures
* Please get in line on Dalark Street.
*Talk to your scholar about the importance of paying attention during dismissal. If they are not paying attention, they will miss their name and you will be instructed to go back through the car line. You do NOT have to go back to Dalark. The staff member will allow you to turn back into the car line to reenter your child's number.
* Please be considerate of others waiting in line, and most importantly, the safety of everyone.
* When you do not follow the procedures in place, it disrupts dismissal for everyone.
We appreciate your cooperation!
