Ms. Kimberly Comeau is starting her second year as the Magnet Site Coordinator at Forest Heights Academy of Excellence.  After graduating from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Ms. Comeau taught first grade for six years in Bossier City, LA.  In 2004, she moved to Baton Rouge where her career at FHAE began.  At Forest Heights Academy, Ms. Comeau taught first grade for four years and Creative Writing for 12 years.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Ms. Comeau was adopted into a wonderful family and raised all over the United States and even Africa.   Her father was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, therefore she was an "Army Brat".  Ms. Comeau has lived in Texas, Liberia, Oklahoma, and Massachusetts.  Before moving to Baton Rouge in 2004, she married Mr. Comeau who is also an educator.  He is an instructor at the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program in Carville, Louisiana.

Ms. Comeau believes that success in education is about building relationships. She is looking forward to working with the students and parents at Forest Heights Academy of Excellence.
